Searchable issuer reference center

Structured SettlementAnnuity Companies

Search current and legacy issuer names, identify commonly requested records and generate an issuer-specific preparation checklist.

Quick answer

The exact legal issuer printed on the annuity contract or current payment statement is more reliable than a logo or familiar brand name. Older contracts may display former companies, affiliates or assignment entities.

How to identify your issuer

01

Check the annuity contract

Look for the complete legal insurance-company name rather than only the parent-company brand.

02

Review recent correspondence

Payment letters, tax correspondence and beneficiary forms may show the current servicing company.

03

Verify through official sources

Use the insurer’s official website before relying on phone numbers, addresses or instructions from another site.

Current brand names versus legal contract names

A brand can change while the legal insurance entity shown on an older contract remains relevant. Examples include AIG-related contracts now associated with the Corebridge Financial brand and Mutual of Omaha structured settlement contracts issued through United of Omaha Life Insurance Company.

Never edit or replace the company name shown on your documents. Provide the exact printed name during professional review.

Issuer identity does not determine the offer

Estimated value also depends on payment amounts, dates, guarantee terms, life contingencies, the portion proposed for transfer, applicable court requirements and market conditions. Two payment streams from the same issuer can produce different estimates.

Issuer questions

Should I call the issuer before requesting a review?

You may need current payment or beneficiary records, but use contact information from the issuer’s official website or your current correspondence. Do not assume the issuer will provide transfer advice.

Does the issuer decide whether a transfer is approved?

The issuer may review and respond to transfer documents, but the applicable court determines whether a qualifying transfer is approved.

What if I cannot find my company in the directory?

Select Other or Unknown and use the exact legal company name printed on the contract or payment statement during professional review.

Does this directory guarantee transfer eligibility?

No. It provides identification and preparation information only. Payment rights, ownership and legal requirements must be reviewed.

Source and compensation disclosure

Company names and program descriptions are based on official insurer sources where available. Product availability, servicing entities and company names can change. Verify current information through the official source linked in the directory.

SettlementDecisions.com may receive compensation from DRB Capital, LLC for qualified referrals. This directory does not represent an endorsement by any listed issuer and does not guarantee eligibility, pricing or court approval.
